Accommodation Contract Terms

for Apartment A NIGHT IN BOHDANEČ

1. Introductory Provisions

These terms and conditions apply to stays at the accommodation facility
“Apartment A NIGHT IN BOHDANEČ”, Družstevní 500, 533 41 Lázně Bohdaneč
(hereinafter referred to as “the accommodation provider”).

The contractual relationship is concluded between the accommodation provider
and the customer who makes a reservation. The customer may be a natural or
legal person (hereinafter referred to as “the customer”).
The customer who makes the reservation represents all guests and is
authorized to act on their behalf; he or she is the sole person responsible
in relation to the accommodation provider.

By confirming the reservation, the customer agrees to these contractual terms
and conditions.

2. Formation of the Contract

The contractual relationship between the customer and the accommodation
provider arises upon confirmation of a reservation at Apartment A NIGHT IN
BOHDANEČ, Družstevní 500, Lázně Bohdaneč, through the online booking system
and after the payment of a deposit or full accommodation amount, as stated in
Article 3, point 3.3 of these terms.

The customer shall pay the deposit/full amount to the accommodation
provider’s account. In exceptional cases where the customer does not have
internet access, the reservation may be made by telephone, and the provider
will issue an invoice. In such cases, the contractual relationship arises at
the moment of the telephone order.

Both parties agree to the use of electronic (email) communication. Notices
given in this form shall be deemed valid and binding.

3. Price of Stay and Payment Terms

The price of the stay is the price stated in the online booking system and in
the confirmation email (accommodation agreement) sent after the reservation
confirmation in the TREVLIX system. For telephone reservations, the price is
specified on the invoice received by the customer.

3.1 Price Includes

Electricity, water, wifi, bed linen (according to the number of guests), and
towels (according to the number of guests).

3.2 Price Excludes

The accommodation price does not include the local tourist tax payable to the
town of Lázně Bohdaneč, which applies to each adult guest and amounts to
21 CZK per started day of stay (excluding the day of
arrival). The tax is paid by bank transfer based on an invoice or request
sent by the booking system or accommodation provider.

3.3 Payment of Stay

The provider is entitled to receive payment before the stay begins. Unless
otherwise agreed in writing, the customer must pay a 30% deposit of the total price at
the time of booking in the TREVLIX system. For telephone reservations, the
deposit must be paid by the due date stated on the invoice. The remaining
70% must be paid no later than 10 days before arrival based on an invoice sent by the provider via email.

If the customer fails to meet payment deadlines, the contract is void and
the accommodation will be offered to other guests. If the customer cancels
the stay more than 10 days before the planned arrival, the paid deposit will
be refunded within 10 working days. If cancellation occurs less than 10 days
before arrival, the payment is non-refundable. Reservations made within 10
days before arrival must be paid in full and are non-refundable.

4. Customer Obligations

  • Provide necessary cooperation to enable proper accommodation.
  • Collect all documents needed for the stay.
  • Arrive on time with all required documents.
  • Follow the house rules and instructions of the provider.
  • Ensure personal safety and avoid harm to property or health; supervise
    children and prevent damage or injury.
  • Use accommodation properly, maintain cleanliness, and close windows and doors when leaving.
  • Take out all garbage upon departure.
  • Report any necessary repairs or damages immediately.

The customer is liable for damages caused within the accommodation or
recreational areas up to 20,000 CZK and for higher damages in full, including
lost profit corresponding to the valid accommodation price for the period the
property is out of use, in accordance with the Civil Code (Act No. 89/2012
Coll.).

4.1 The Customer Must Not Without Prior Consent:

  • Make substantial changes to the premises (move furniture, etc.).
  • Use personal electrical appliances.
  • Sublet or transfer the accommodation to another person.

4.2 The Customer Is Not Allowed To:

  • Smoke anywhere inside the building, including balconies.
  • Possess, produce, or store narcotic or psychotropic substances unless
    prescribed by a doctor.
  • Carry or store weapons or ammunition ready for immediate use.
  • Keep any animals in the accommodation.

5. Obligations, Rights, and Liability of the Provider

The provider shall deliver the accommodation in proper condition and ensure
uninterrupted enjoyment of the stay. Reported defects will be repaired
promptly, and the premises will be maintained in proper technical and
hygienic condition.

The provider has the right to inspect the premises after the stay in the
customer’s presence. This is a standard procedure and should not be seen as a
sign of distrust.

The provider is not responsible for injuries or damages to property caused by
carelessness, negligence, misuse, or lack of supervision by the customer.

6. Stay

Guests may use the accommodation and shared areas. Upon arrival, the customer
receives a key, which must be returned at the end of the stay. In case of
loss or theft, a contractual penalty of 2,500 CZK applies,
without prejudice to further damage claims.

Check-in: from 3:00 PM on the day of arrival.
Check-out: by 10:00 AM on the day of departure.
Late check-out may result in an extra charge according to the valid price list.

6.1 Transport

Transportation to the accommodation is individual and at the customer’s own
expense.

6.2 Accommodation Capacity

The number of guests must not exceed the apartment’s listed capacity on
www.vbohdanci.cz.
The number of guests is stated in the reservation confirmation email.
A baby cot for children under 3 years old can be booked free of charge.

The apartment cannot be booked solely by minors under 18 years of age or
persons with limited legal capacity. At least one responsible adult (18+)
must be present throughout the stay.

6.3 Energy and Sustainability

Please help us save energy and protect the environment by avoiding long
ventilation periods during the winter.

6.4 Pets

Pets are not allowed. A penalty of 5,000 CZK applies for any
violation.

6.5 Storage of Sports Equipment

Sports equipment may not be taken into the apartment. A designated storage
room (cellar space) is available for guests to use.

6.6 Valuables

The provider recommends that guests do not leave jewelry, cash, or valuables
in the apartment. The provider is not responsible for loss or damage of such
items and is not obliged to store them.

6.7 Parking

Free parking is available for guests in the public parking area behind the
building. These areas are not guarded; the provider assumes no liability for
theft or damage to vehicles or belongings.

6.8 Security Camera System

The following public areas are monitored by CCTV for the protection of
property and order:

  • Entrance door 1
  • Entrance door 2
  • Basement area

7. Changes and Termination of the Contract

If the provider must change essential terms before the start of the stay, the
customer may accept the change or withdraw from the contract. All
communication will take place via email. If the customer does not withdraw
within 5 days of receiving notice, the change is deemed accepted.

The provider may withdraw from the contract if the customer seriously
breaches obligations or violates house rules or public order.

Withdrawal must be in writing and delivered to the other party. It does not
affect obligations or claims arising prior to termination.

Cancellation Policy

  • More than 10 days before arrival – no charge.
  • 10 days or less before arrival – 100% of the paid price.
  • No-show – 100% of the paid price.
  • Early termination – 100% of unused services.

Upon withdrawal, the provider may require immediate vacating of the
premises, and the customer must comply without delay.

8. Complaints

Any complaints must be made immediately upon discovery to the provider or an
authorized representative to allow for timely resolution.

9. Final Provisions

These General Terms and Conditions apply to all stays at Apartment A NIGHT IN
BOHDANEČ, Družstevní 500, Lázně Bohdaneč, and are effective from
November 19, 2024.

By making a reservation, the customer confirms that they have read, understood,
and fully accept these terms on their own behalf and on behalf of all guests.
