Scope of personal data processing

When you contact us through the website, you may be asked to provide the following personal data:

  • first and last name
  • contact address
  • telephone number
  • email address
  • ID card or passport number
  • nationality
  • date of birth
  • visa information

Purpose of processing

We use the data you provide to contact you back and supply the information you requested, or to make
a reservation and fulfil the accommodation contract. All data is processed lawfully and transparently,
and only adequate, relevant and necessary data is collected for the stated purposes.

Providing personal data for the performance of a contract or for answering your enquiries is a
contractual requirement. If you do not provide such data, we may be unable to conclude the contract
or respond to your enquiry.

Who has access to your personal data

Your personal data is processed by us as the data controller. For the purposes above, your data may be
transferred to the reservation system provider TREVLIX
(Trevlix, s.r.o., ID 14091887, VAT CZ14091887, 28. října 810/246, Mariánské Hory, 709 00 Ostrava) for
processing on our behalf.

Personal data may also be disclosed to:

  • processors providing server, web, cloud, accounting or IT services to the accommodation provider;
  • Czech public authorities, for the purpose of maintaining the mandatory accommodation register.

Duration of processing

We process your personal data for as long as we provide services to you or fulfil our mutual contract,
or for the period necessary to comply with statutory archiving duties under applicable laws such as the
Accounting Act, the Archives and Records Act, and the Value Added Tax Act.

Your rights

In relation to our processing of your personal data, you have the following rights:

  • right of access;
  • right to rectification;
  • right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”);
  • right to restriction of processing;
  • right to object to processing;
  • right to lodge a complaint regarding the processing of personal data.

You can exercise all rights by contacting us at
info@vbohdanci.cz. You may also lodge a complaint with the
supervisory authority, the Office for Personal Data Protection.

Explanations of your rights

Right of access. You may request confirmation at any time whether personal data concerning you
is processed and, if so, for what purposes, to what extent, to whom it is disclosed, how long it will be processed,
whether you have the right to rectification, erasure, restriction or objection, the source of the data, and whether
automated decision-making (including profiling) occurs. You may obtain a copy of your personal data. The first copy
is free; reasonable administrative fees may apply for additional copies.

Right to rectification. You may request the correction or completion of inaccurate or incomplete data.

Right to erasure. We must erase your personal data if (i) it is no longer necessary for the purposes
for which it was collected; (ii) the processing is unlawful; (iii) you object and there are no overriding legitimate
grounds for processing; or (iv) we are required to do so by law.

Right to restriction of processing. Until any disputed issues concerning processing are resolved,
we must restrict processing so that your data is only stored and may be used solely for the establishment, exercise,
or defence of legal claims.

Right to object. You may object to processing carried out for direct marketing or based on our
legitimate interests. If you object to processing for direct marketing, your data will no longer be processed for
that purpose.
